the day before surgery
After waiting about 16 weeks, the day is upon us. Jack & Sadie are to have surgery for their craniosynostosis. A condition in which the sagittal suture on their heads fused together. There is not a known cause for this condition and it is pretty rare that both babies would have it. But that they do, and the only correction is surgery, where the remove the bone that is fused and make relief cuts in the sides of their skull to help round out their heads.
