- Mom: What about Candace? Piper: We can't name her that, it's a state! [When trying to come up with a name for Sadie] 2010

- Mom, you forgot I'm just a little girl. I'm not a monster. [After appearing at my bedside and scaring me to the point that I threw the covers over my head.] 10/17/09

- I'm gonna sell my little bike to Eloise for 8 monies. 7/5/09
- Mom know what? Yesta-day I finished the toilet paper and put a new roll on! 5/11/09
- Mommy, let's make cookies and feed them to the birds. [Piper has quickly learned that Mommy isn't the best baker!] 5/8/09
