Preschool
Piper's been in preschool for three weeks now. Every time we go to pick her up, she can't wait to show us all the art she's created and tell us about her job for the day. Her favorite is calendar and weather and table and lunch cart and door holder and...

Sunday School
Piper and I have been going to a new to us church for about a month now. Each Sunday we invite Daddy, but he hadn't yet decided to join us. As Piper and I were getting ready this morning, Piper wondered if Dad would come. She thought out loud that maybe he was afraid to go to church. Then looked at me and said, "Mommy, if we can just take him with us, he'll see that it's not scary."
He was in the shower while Piper was pondering this. She went and shared her thoughts with him. And guess who joined us today?

first night in big bed 7/3/09
She only came in our room 3 times that night. Night 2, not even once. How could our little girl be getting so big? Mom, Dad, recognize her blanket? Love you Grammy!

Birthday #2
Our 3 year old celebrated with her friends today. All had a great time making spotting scopes, spotting jungle animals, skipping stones and eating yummy Dora cake. Thanks to all our friends for joining us!
Swimming
We have a little fishy on our hands. After fretting that I didn't get her into lessons soon enough, my fears were washed away as soon as she jumped in. She's absolutely loving it.
