hubby and da da turned 40 today. we had a pretty low-key day spent eating and playing. the cake, which was deemed the most "moist/spongy" on the box turned out more like a hard cookie. mikey insisted it was still good and knowing him, a lot will disappear throughout the night.
all in all he is accepting being 40. (well, today he is.) he appreciates his life, work and family and was feeling very fortunate today. i hope this feeling continues and grows as time goes on.
